Harrington Slams Kernels
Despite giving up four runs in the bottom of the ninth the Snappers were able to defeat the Cedar Rapids Kernels by a score of 9-7 Sunday afternoon.
Michael Harrington feasted on Kernels pitching as he went 4-for-5 with four RBI's and collected his 30th double of the season. Harrington also scored twice.
The 6-7-8 hitters for the Snappers combined for nine hits, scored seven runs and drove in four runs.
Closer Billy Bullock picked up his third save since coming to the Snappers.
The action kicks off around noon Monday for the series finale before the Snappers head home to greet the Clinton Lumberkings on Tuesday with game time scheduled for 7:00pm.
