Ports Promote Bryan Meadows to Assistant General Manager

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Stockton Ports announced today that Bryan Meadows has been promoted to Assistant General Manager. 7th Inning Stretch, LLC President Pat Filippone made the announcement.

"Bryan has earned the opportunity with his dedication to the organization and the vital role he plays in the front office," said Filippone. "I am excited to continue working with him in his new position of Assistant General Manager."

Meadows will increase his role in the day-to-day managerial duties of the Ports, while Filippone will continue to work locally with the Ports and their business partners, as well as nationwide as the President of the group's other affiliated clubs, the Delmarva Shorebirds (Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) and Everett AquaSox (Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners).

In April, Meadows will begin his 5th season in Minor League Baseball and 4th with the Stockton Ports. Prior to Stockton, he spent one year with the Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers), where he began his front office career. During his years in Stockton, Meadows has directed all operations and events efforts, in addition to overseeing game-day customer service. In the new position, Meadows will be getting more involved in ticket sales, as well as merchandise.

Originally from Allen, TX, Meadows graduated from Allen High School. Following high school, he pitched for Cisco Junior College for two years, then went on to receive his B.S. in Sports Management with a minor in Marketing from Oklahoma State University.

Opening day is April 10, 2014 vs. the Visalia Rawhide.
