2009 MWL Playoffs

August 11, 2009
With the 2009 Midwest League Playoffs rapidly approaching, the Dayton Dragons are now taking postseason ticket orders.

The Dragons are currently in a race to qualify for the postseason in the Midwest League with three other teams. To earn a playoff spot, Dayton needs to finish ahead of two of the following teams: Great Lakes, South Bend, and Lansing. The two other teams in the Eastern Division, Fort Wayne and West Michigan, have already qualified for the playoffs based on their records in the first half of the season.

If the Dragons qualify for the postseason, the first game of the opening series of the 2009 Midwest League Playoffs will be played in Dayton at Fifth Third Field on Wednesday, September 9th at 7 PM. Gates will open at 6 PM.

Season ticket holders have been sent information on how to get their playoff tickets and should contact the box office to place their orders soon.
