Global Spectrum Names Art Davis General Manager of Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Global Spectrum, operators of the 61,008 seat Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, announced today that Art Davis has been named the facility's new General Manager.

Davis has been with Global Spectrum since 2008 working as the Director of Finance for the Memphis Redbirds and AutoZone Park. In addition, Davis has been involved in the finance and accounting duties with the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium since 2011.

"Art has the experience and knowledge of what it will take to make the Liberty Bowl a successful venue for Global Spectrum and for the region," said Global Spectrum Chief Operating Officer John Page. "We are confident that Art will help continue to lead Global Spectrum's management team in Memphis in making the Liberty Bowl a fun, safe place for fans to attend events."

In his new role at the Liberty Bowl, Davis will be responsible for the day-to-day operations for the facility, including staffing, scheduling, booking, marketing, advertising, event services and accounting.

Prior to joining the Redbirds, Davis served as a consultant in the fields of manufacturing, retailing, logistics, and employment recruitment & training. He also held the position of Vice President of Finance/Operations of a business with operations throughout the southern United States.

Davis holds his Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and is a native of Southaven, Miss.
