August 20, 2009

The Augusta GreenJackets announce a time change for their Wednesday September 2nd contest with the Savannah Sand Gnats. The Jackets will now host the Sand Gnats at 10:05 a.m. on the 2nd, instead of the original start time of 7:05 p.m.

The GreenJackets will play host to a large contingent of Richmond County fourth graders that will be in attendance for the special morning "Education Day" contest, which serves as the series finale between the Jackets and the Sand Gnats.

School or day care groups that would like to join in the fun can call (706) 922-WINS to ask about how to book their group for the special 10:05 a.m. contest on September 2nd.

The GreenJackets host the Savannah Sand Gnats in a doubleheader on the season's final Thirsty Thursday. First pitch will come at 5:05 from Lake Olmstead Stadium. You may purchase seats to Thursday's game and every home game by calling (706) 922-WINS or online at www.greenjacketsbaseball.com.
