2009 Texas League Playoffs

The RoughRiders, who are currently three games behind the first place Midland RockHounds, are striving to finish with the best second half record in the Texas League South Division in order to qualify for postseason play. With two weeks remaining in the season and six head-to-head games against first place Midland, postseason play is within reach. The RoughRiders have made the playoffs four of the six seasons Frisco has been in existence, including the past two years. Last year the RoughRiders came one game away from their second Texas League Championship after winning the league title in 2004.

If the 'Riders qualify for the postseason, the first playoff game at Dr Pepper Ballpark will be Friday, September 11 at 7 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.

Season ticket holders have been sent information on how to get their playoff tickets and should contact their Account Rep or fax in their order form by Friday, August 28 to reserve their seats. If you missed your chance to become a season ticket holder for 2009, you can still reserve playoff tickets by making a $100 deposit toward your 2010 season tickets!
