Enhanced PBEO Web site launches

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Professional Baseball Employment Opportunities, a subsidiary of Minor League Baseball, has re-launched its Web site, www.PBEO.com, with several new features, including a scrolling panel of all active job postings.

PBEO members can view current employment opportunities in a constant state of motion, as the right-hand sidebar displays a rolling stream of job postings that updates every seven seconds.

Members also now have the ability to narrow their search for employment opportunities by state, job type and club.

Another new feature is the In-Depth Relevant Experience Profiling section, which allows members to select job categories and the amount of experience (in years) that they possess. They can also specify other skills they have, such as computer software proficiency.

PBEO users can more easily keep their information current, as the name and date of their résumé and cover letter are now visible in their account.

The PBEO program was established in 1994 to continue Minor League Baseball's efforts to provide a year-round job placement service for its clubs, as well as Major League Baseball teams.
