Kutless to Headline Christian Concert
HICKORY, NC - The Hickory Crawdads have announced that Christian rock band Kutless will be the headline band this summer for the 'Dads annual Christian Concert. This year's concert is scheduled for Saturday, August 16th, following the 'Dads game at Crawdads Stadium.
Kutless released their self-titled, debut album in 2002, and have since gone on to make seven total albums while garnering 8 Dove Award Nominations from the Gospel Music Association (GMA). The band was awarded RIAA Gold Certification for their third album Strong Tower, while their 6th record, It is Well, included the hit song "What Faith Can Do", which won the Mediabase Christian AC Song of the Year in 2010. The group's most recent album, Believer, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Christian Music Charts in 2012. Kutless is set to release their 8th album, Glory, on February 10th, 2014.
Last year's Crawdads Christian Concert was a sold-out hit, with the 'Dads filling Crawdads Stadium to max capacity for that night's game and accompanying performance by Big Daddy Weave. Seats for this year's game/concert will go on sale later this month. Tickets will cost $15 for individuals and $12 for groups of 20 or more.
The Crawdads 2014 season begins April 3 with a 7-game road trip to Greensboro and Kannapolis, before the 'Dads Home Opener on April 10 against Asheville. 2014 Season Tickets and Ticket Books are on sale now.
