Bucci Named to All-Star Roster
The Sarnia, ONT native went 6-3 with a 4.41 ERA in 13 games for the Brewers. Bucci ranks second in the league in wins (6), fourth in strikeouts (66), and ninth in ERA (4.41). The 6'2" right-hander won his first six decisions, including four starts in a row at one point. He had 66 strikeouts and 21 walks in 69.1 innings.
Bucci, the 18th round pick for the Brewers in 2008, was the lone representative for Helena on the All-Star Roster. Mike Marseco, Scott Krieger, Michael Fiers and Josh Prince were all honorable mentions for the Brewers.
Ogden's Brian Cavavos-Galvez was named the Pioneer League MVP after batting .315 with 18 homeruns and 63 RBI's.
Casper's Chris Balcom-Miller was 4-0 and led the league with a 1.58 ERA to earn Pitcher of the Year honors.
