Knights Team Store Opens Friday, Ticket Office Saturday

(Uptown Charlotte, NC) - The Charlotte Knights' brand-new, climate-controlled Team Store, located at BB&T Ballpark, will officially open its doors to the general public at noon on Friday, March 7. A day later, the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office will open for business (Saturday, March 8) at 9:00 a.m. - giving fans their first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets for the inaugural season at BB&T Ballpark. Fans can also shop at the Team Store on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The Knights Team Store will be adult and kid-friendly, and will have some great features for both to enjoy. There will be merchandise for all ages, and the store will be accessible from outside of BB&T Ballpark (located on the corner of Martin Luther King St. and South Mint St.), and from the main concourse inside the ballpark. Fans can shop during the season, as well as in the offseason, as the Knights Team Store will be open all-year-round. The store features merchandise with the team's four new logos, which were unveiled on October 24, 2013.

"This is our first true Team Store since our move from Knights Stadium, and it's going to be a one-stop shop for all Knights merchandise," said Knights General Manager of Baseball Operations Scotty Brown. "Fans are going to love this store! We can't wait to open it up for shopping on Friday!"

Non Game Days:
Monday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturdays (during the season): 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sundays: Closed

Game Days:
Monday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Gates Open - 30 minutes after the game)
Sunday - Gates Open: 30 minutes after the game

Single-game tickets for the 2014 season will go on sale to the general public at the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8. Fans interested in purchasing tickets to any of the team's 72 home games, as well as tickets to the USA Baseball game on July 3 and the Gildan Triple-A National Championship Game on September 16, can do so at BB&T Ballpark starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Ticket Office will stay open until 5:00 p.m. on March 8.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets from the comforts of their home can do so by calling 704-357-8071 or by logging on to www.charlotteknights.com starting at noon on March 8. Tickets for Opening Day, April 11 will be limited to four tickets per fan and those interested in Opening Day tickets are encouraged to come out to BB&T Ballpark on March 8.

Prices for single-game tickets start as low as $8 for Standing Room Only, which grants fans access around the concourse and provides seating in the grass berm areas. The Knights also offer a $10 ticket for fans interested in sitting in the Left Field Power Alley section. All areas, along with prices, are as follows:
