Muppets, Pirates, and More BIG FUN!
Do you know anyone with a big mouth? Well so do we, and instead of asking them to be quiet, we're honoring our fuzzy, fleecy, foam-bodied friends, the Muppets, on "Salute to Muppets" night August 8th at Parkview Field. The Muppets are no 'dummies', and we'll let them show their talents, and you can do the same by singing "Manamana" and telling jokes like Fozzie Bear (Waka, Waka!). We'll even see what the Swedish Chef might be able to cook up for you!
Bat boys will be barnacle boys, the bases formerly known as first and third will be re-named port and starboard, and the "Pirates of Parrrkview Field" will host those swashbuckling scallywags, the Lake County Captains, on August 15th. Get ready to talk like a pirate, matey, because only the true rulers of the sea will prevail this night!
What better way to cap off the final Friday of the first regular season of Big Fun than with "Fan Appreciation Night" on August 29th? In years past we've gone as far as to give away a bobblehead of one of our loyal fans, so stay tuned to see what we'll do this year!
