Sidewalk Prophets to Perform at Faith & Family Night on May 9th

Naturals game will feature pre-game Christian concert and a post-game Fireworks Spectacular

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals along with presenting sponsor Sam's Furniture and media partner KLRC are excited to announce that Sidewalk Prophets is scheduled to perform a pre-game concert at Faith and Family Night on Friday, May 9th before the Naturals take on the Springfield Cardinals at Arvest Ballpark.

Sidewalk Prophets, a Christian band, is scheduled to perform an hour pre-game concert beginning at 6:00pm, prior to the Naturals game against the AA St. Louis Cardinals that is scheduled to start at 7:35pm. Gates will open to the public at 5:30pm, and there will be a post-game Fireworks Spectacular to conclude the night.

The band rode the success of their first Word Records release, These Simple Truths, to a Dove Award for Best New Artist in 2010 and a nomination for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. The success hasn't stopped as they've released singles "The Words I Would Say" that would hit #3, "You Can Have Me" that went Top 20, and "You Love Me Anyway" that went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Christian Singles chart. In 2012, they released the single "Live Like That" and it was nominated for the 2013 GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year.

Tickets are currently available for Faith and Family Night and can be purchased at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office, online at www.nwanaturals.com/tickets, or by calling our toll free ticket hotline at (877) 444-2637. Individual ticket prices for Faith and Family Night will range from $8 to $14 and that includes the concert, ballgame, and fireworks.

The Naturals will also offer special group rates starting at just $8 for reserved seats for groups of 20 or more. Groups interested in attending Faith & Family Night presented by Sam's Furniture, must purchase these tickets in advance of the game. The Seventh Season of Naturals Baseball begins Thursday, April 3, 2014 in Frisco, TX. The team opens at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday April 10, 2014 against the same Frisco RoughRiders.
