GreenJackets Announce Major Partnership with SweetWater Brewing Company

SweetWater Brewing Company and Augusta GreenJackets Introduce the SweetWater Draft House to Lake Olmstead Stadium

AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets are proud to announce a partnership with Atlanta-based SweetWater Brewing Company. The major partnership will not only bring SweetWater Brewery's products to Lake Olmstead Stadium, but will also see a rebranding of the Party Pavilion to the "SweetWater Draft House."

"This major partnership between SweetWater Brewing Company and the GreenJackets demonstrates our ownership's commitment to bringing some of the best products to Lake Olmstead Stadium," says Augusta GreenJackets General Manager Tom Denlinger. "We are excited about giving our fans the ability to have a wonderful product while enjoying the best entertainment in town." 

SweetWater Brewery will feature three of its products at Lake Olmstead Stadium; SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale, SweetWater Blue and SweetWater India Pale Ale. The beers will be available in cans and on draft throughout ballpark concession stands, as well asexclusively served at the "SweetWater Draft House."

"Enjoying a beer at the ballpark is about as American as it gets, the two go hand in hand," said SweetWater Founder and Big Kahuna Freddy Bensch. "GreenJackets games are a community event, and we are excited to give fans a taste of some of the freshest local brews from their backyard to pair with that experience."   

The "SweetWater Draft House" is the premier party area at Lake Olmstead Stadium and is also available to for groups of 20 or more. Not only will SweetWater be on tap, fans also be treated to a 90 minute all-you-can eat buffet of theirchoice and have seating above the Augusta GreenJackets bullpen. The GreenJackets will be hosting our inaugural BUZZ Fest on Saturday! Gates open at 10 AM and fans will have the first opportunity to buy single game tickets for the 2014 season! The first 100 fans to buy a single game ticket will receive a free GreenJackets statue and hot dog. There will also be inflatables, a sidewalk sale at the merchandise store, Shepeard Blood Center will be on-site for blood donation/education, a summer camp fair for parents and kids and much more.
