Helpful Hints for Blue Wahoos Fans Coming to Pensacola Bayfront Stadium

These tips will help prepare you for 2014 Blue Wahoos Baseball

  • With large crowds expected, fans heading out to Pensacola Bayfront Stadium for the Reds Exhibition game this Friday, March 28th, and on Opening Night, Thursday, April 3rd, are encouraged to arrive early or consider taking the Wahoo Choo Choo from Seville Quarter. Parking in the main lot at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium is $7 and parking at Seville Quarter and the Wahoo Choo Choo are free.
  • For the Reds vs. Blue Wahoos exhibition game fans should plan on being in their seats by 5:30 p.m. so they don't miss any of the pregame festivities including full team introductions and Chloe Channell's National Anthem performance. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
  • Gates will open at 3 p.m. on March 28th. The Blue Wahoos will take batting practice at 3:15 p.m., followed by the Reds.
  • Blue Wahoos regular season games will begin at 6:30 p.m. Mondays - Saturdays. First pitch will remain at 4 p.m. on Sundays. Gates will open one hour prior to first pitch.
  • Pensacola Bayfront Stadium parking maps, detailed directions, and traffic information can be found at BlueWahoos.com. Season-long parking passes can be purchased through City Hall by calling (850) 436-5670.
  • For the safety of all fans the following items are not permitted in the stadium: electronic cigarettes, laser pointers, glass bottles or cans, weapons of any kind, lawn chairs, pets, banners and/or flags of any kind with a stick, alcohol or drugs, outside food and beverages, Frisbees, beach balls, and any other objects that can be thrown in the stadium.
  • The Hill-Kelly Dodge Pick-Up Window will open Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. for fans looking to purchase tickets to the team's opening homestand April 3rd - 7th. The Reds exhibition game is sold out.
  • The Blue Wahoos concessions introduce souvenir cups and popcorn buckets this season. A souvenir soda is $5 with a $2 refill, the souvenir popcorn bucket is $6 with a $1 refill and a souvenir beer is $7 for domestic beers and $8 for craft beers. There is no refill discount for the souvenir beer cup.
  • On March 28th, Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram will post a target in right field. If any player hits the target, one lucky fan will win a Dodge Ram truck. Fans must sign up at the Gulf Coast Community Bank Fan Assistance Booth for a chance to win. Florida Blue will also provide pregame games, prizes and activities.
