Drillers Broadcasts Return to AM 1430

The Tulsa Drillers have announced that the team's radio broadcasts will again be heard this season on Clear Channel station AM 1430, The Buzz. The 2014 season will mark the 29th consecutive year that the Drillers and Clear Channel have partnered for game broadcasts, and it will be the 10th straight season that The Buzz has been the radio home for Drillers Baseball.

Play-by-play broadcaster Dennis Higgins is returning for sixth season as the Voice of the Drillers. Higgins will continue to bring his major league experience to Tulsa listeners, having previously served as a radio broadcaster with the San Francisco Giants.

All 140 Drillers regular season games will be aired live. Occasional scheduling conflicts, such as weekday, afternoon games, will force some games to air on KAKC, AM 1300.

The first broadcast of the 2014 season will take place on Thursday, April 3 when the Drillers host the Corpus Christi Hooks at ONEOK Field to open the Texas League campaign.
