Don't Miss Opening Day at Fluor Field!

$1 Drink Night in Southern Tide 500 Club among evening's highlights

After a long wait, Greenville Drive baseball returns to Fluor Field on Thursday, and you won't want to miss all of the excitement the Drive has planned for Opening Day! 

Thursday will be the first chance for Drive fans to check out all of the latest enhancements at Fluor Field, including the redesigned Southern Tide 500 Club! Southern Tide is the official apparel provider of the Greenville Drive, and the Skipjack logo will be featured prominently throughout both the Southern Tide 500 Club and the ballpark. 

The new features of the Southern Tide 500 Club include a seaside, nautical theme, six flat screen TV's, new furniture, a wide-ranging menu featuring seafood options, and more. Opening Day is also $1 Drink Night at Fluor Field, and the Southern Tide 500 Club is the place to be for $1 Drinks for those over 21.

Fans in the suite level will also notice the enhancements of the suites, including new furniture, flooring, lighting, layout, an updated suite menu and more.

In addition, the Drive are proud to have retired Sergeant Michael Batton on hand to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day. Batton served as an active duty Marine for 10 years before being injured in combat in Iraq in 2006. He currently lives in the Upstate with his wife and four children and does volunteer work with Upstate Warrior Solution.

The Drive are also excited to have a 2014 Mustang Shelby GT500 provided by the 2014 Wounded Warriors Family Support High Five Tour and the Foothills Mustang Club for the games on Thursday and Sunday. The Mustang will be driven through 48 states this summer as a show of support to the military families who have made sacrifices for our freedom. 

Greenville is the first stop for the Mustang on the tour, and after it stops in Greenville, it will head to Charlotte, North Carolina and Las Vegas, Nevada to be a part of the Mustang Club of America and Ford Motor Company celebrations as part of the Mustang's 50th anniversary.
