Curve reschedules 'Batman' game

ALTOONA -- The Altoona Curve today announced that Tuesday, May 23rd's scheduled Retro Celebrity Series appearance featuring Adam West ("Batman") has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, July 25.

The rescheduling was necessary because of personal circumstances with Mr. West. His rescheduled appearance on July 25 will also feature post-game fireworks as the Curve host the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 PM.

Fans holding tickets to the Tuesday, May 23 game can exchange their tickets for the rescheduled July 25 date by visiting the Curve Ticket Office at Blair County Ballpark. Fans with questions regarding the exchange of tickets can call the Curve Ticket Office toll-free at (877) 99-CURVE.

As part of the 2006 Retro Celebrity Series, the Curve are hosting stars throughout the season from some of the most popular shows in television history. Richard Moll ("Bull Shannon" from Night Court) and Erik Estrada ("Ponch" from CHiPS) have already made appearances at Blair County Ballpark and nine other appearances are scattered throughout the remainder of the schedule. The revised schedule of Curve Retro Celebrity Series appearances is listed below:

Barry Williams ("Greg Brady" from The Brady Bunch) on June 3; Jamie Farr ("Cpl. Klinger" from M*A*S*H) on June 16; Sherman Hemsley ("George Jefferson" from The Jeffersons) on June 28; Jerry Mathers ("Beaver Cleaver" from Leave it to Beaver) on July 15; Adam West ("Batman") on July 25; Bernie Koppell ("Dr. Adam Bricker" from Love Boat) on August 8 ; Dawn Wells ("Mary Ann" from Gilligan's Island) on August 22; Ron Palillo ("Arnold Horshack" from Welcome Back Kotter) on August 28; and Jimmie Walker ("J.J." from Good Times) on September 2.
