RiverDogs featured on 'Man vs. Food'

September 29, 2009
CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Once again, Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park's food and beverage offerings will be on a national stage when the Minor League Baseball edition of "Man vs. Food" hits the airwaves on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. on the Travel Channel.

On May 26, the Man vs. Food production crew and the show's host, Adam Richman, frequented the Lowcountry to sample the fabulous regional palette pleasers including the ever-impressive all-beef, half-pound, foot-long Homewrecker (hot dog) that comes with a choice of 25 toppings, the RiverDog, the Elvis and many more.

Concessions at Riley Park have been featured nationally several times, most recently when The Food Network aired a special hosted by Rachael Ray on ballpark food and ESPN the Magazine did a pictorial on ballpark food that focused on the RiverDogs' wide variety of choices.
