Suns partner with Pointstreak 5050
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Starting April 19th, the Jacksonville Suns will introduce an exciting addition for all their fans as they will debut the Pointstreak 5050 raffling platform at all home games.
"We are excited to be partnering with Pointstreak 5050 this season to bring their cutting-edge automated raffling system to our guests," Suns General Manager Chris Peters said.
In joining Pointstreak 5050, the Suns will also partner with ALS Association Florida Chapter and the Duval Family of Dealers to raise money to help find a cure for ALS.
The Duval Family of Dealers is awarding one winner at the end of the 2014 season a three year lease on a 2014 Honda Civic, to have a chance to win the Honda Civic fans must purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket.
"I've always had a soft spot for ALS-Lou Gehrig's Disease and I'm really optimistic we will raise the association a lot of money," Suns President & Owner Peter D. Bragan, Jr said. "Having the Duval Family of Dealers put up a three year lease on a Honda Civic will be a great boost to sales."
The Suns have partnered with Pointstreak 5050, a leader in electronic raffle management systems, to bring this raffle technology to Bragan Field. The Pointstreak 5050 system electronically captures every transaction while providing updated real-time raffle information to display devices located throughout the venue. Tickets are sold to fans through fixed touch-screen terminals and mobile devices, creating an effortless data collection system providing faster sales transaction, longer selling periods and accountability.
"We've had great success with many professional sports franchises and foundations in helping them raise significant charitable dollars through Pointstreak's platform," Pointstreak 5050 President Kevin Lovit said. "We look forward to working with the Suns as they are considered one of the premier organizations in all of Minor League Baseball."
