Stadium of Screams Haunts Gwinnett Stadium

Haunted House Attraction Opens on October 15th
October 1, 2009

The Gwinnett Braves today announced the team's partnership with Spooky Shead Productions to transform Gwinnett Stadium into Stadium of Screams, the largest haunted attraction in Gwinnett, for select weekends in October. Atlanta Braves pitcher Vladimir Nunez will officially open the gates to the Stadium of Screams on Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 p.m.

The Stadium of Screams caters to all ages with "less spooky" attractions for younger children and "gravely spooky" attractions that are designed to frighten even the most hardened haunted house visitor. The attraction consists of the Tunnel of Terror, the Corridor of Horror and for the younger audience, the Concourse of Characters. Over 50 actors make up the "Scream Team" and special effects seen at Gwinnett Stadium are comparable to those at Disney, Six Flags and Universal Studios. Each evening features two movies on the video board - Monster House (PG) at 7:30 p.m. and The Grudge (PG-13) at 9:30 p.m.

The Stadium of Screams will be open from 7:00 p.m. to midnight October 15-17, October 22-24 and October 29 - November 1.

Tickets and event information are available at www.stadiumofscreams.com. Tickets for both attractions and movies are $20, tickets for the "less spooky" attraction are $13 and tickets for groups of 10 or more are $16. Buying online will save guests $2 per ticket. VIP tickets are $35 and include two trips through the attractions, both movies and access to the front of the line. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
