Rainiers and River Cats Rained Out
TACOMA, Wash. -- The Tacoma Rainiers game against the Sacramento River Cats, originally scheduled to be played at 5:05 p.m. tonight, has been postponed due to rain.
The game will now be played as part of a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 1:35 p.m. tomorrow, April 20. Each game of tomorrow's doubleheader will last seven innings, and the second game will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.
Tickets from tonight's rained out game may be exchanged at the Cheney Stadium Box Office for any future 2014 Rainiers home game except July 3rd and August 27th. Tickets will only be exchanged for available seats. Fans who have already purchased tickets for tomorrow's game will be allowed entry to both games of tomorrow's doubleheader.
Right-hander Jordan Pries (0-0, -.--) gets the start for Tacoma in the first game of the doubleheader against River Cats right-hander Sean Murphy (2-1, 5.06). The second game will feature Tacoma's James Gillheeney (1-1, 5.40) against right-hander Marcus Walden (0-0, -.--).
