Gizmo makes his first appearance
On Friday, May 2, the Greeneville Astros unveiled the newest member of the Astros family. Gizmo Moonshot, an alien from the Great Bullpens of the Grand Slam Galaxy, was introduced in front of the elementary schoolers at Tusculum View Elementary. After a space worthy countdown by the kids, Gizmo appeared on stage dancing and then continued to give out high fives. Toby Crabtree, who won the Name the Mascot contest, was brought up front and given the first ever Gizmo autograph along with his Gizmo's Cosmic Kids Club membership.
