Rattlers welcome Hank the Dog to game on June 1

April 29, 2014

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Brewers Sunday promotion on June 1 just picked up some star power. Hank the Dog, the stray pup who turned up at Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training in Maryvale, Arizona and came north with the team, will make an appearance at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium before and during the game against the Quad Cities River Bandits on that date. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05pm.

"Ever since Hank appeared, our fans have been asking us when he will be at one of our games," said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav. "We are extremely pleased that we were able to work with the Brewers - and with Hank - to schedule him to come up and meet our fans."

Fans may meet Hank and get pictures with him near the Festival Foods Grill at the end of the third base concourse from 11:30am until 12:15pm. The ballpark pup will head down to the field for a first pitch and return to the third base concourse from 1:30pm until 2:15pm allowing fans a second opportunity to meet Hank and get a photo with him.

Tickets for the game on June 1 are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER, or in person from the Timber Rattlers Ticket Office.

The Timber Rattlers continue their current homestand tonight with a doubleheader against the Burlington Bees. Game one is scheduled to start at 5:05pm. Wisconsin hosts Burlington again on Wednesday night at 6:35pm and Thursday afternoon at 12:05pm. The Clinton LumberKings will be in for the final three games of the homestand with a night game on Friday night and 1:05pm games on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
