Back-to-Back Fireworks, 55-cent Cinco De Mayo Tickets Part of Curve Homestand
CURVE, Pa. - When the Altoona Curve return home on Friday, May 2 for a homestand against the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians' affiliate) and Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles' affiliate), a pair of fireworks shows, a free Kids' Club game, Cinco de Mayo specials, and the first Education day of the season will take center stage.
After the first game of the homestand on Friday, fans in attendance will enjoy postgame fireworks. Then, on Saturday after the Curve battle the RubberDucks in a doubleheader, fans will again enjoy postgame fireworks presented by US Foods.
Sunday, it will be all about the kids, as a Youth Baseball Clinic will be held on the field from 10 a.m. to noon (registration at 9 a.m.) for youngsters 12 and under. The clinic is free with a ticket to Sunday's Curve-'Ducks' game. Speaking of free, kids 12 and under can also get into Sunday's game for free if they are a member of the free Ritchey's Dairy Curve Kids' Club. Kids can sign up at the Curve box office, in the ballpark during Curve games, online at AltoonaCurve.com, or by calling 877-99-CURVE.
Monday will be a special Mirror Monday presented by the Altoona Mirror as the Curve will celebrate Cinco de Mayo. The Curve are offering 55-cent tickets to the UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction OF Reserved Seats for Monday's game. Along with the ticket offer, 24 oz. Dos Equis drafts will be available for only $5 (a savings of $2.50 off of the regular price). Additionally, the Curve will be offering a Buy One, Get One Free deal on Nachos & Cheese at the Monday, May 5 game.
