Suns Announce Newest Member of Front Office
A product of the Suns' internship program, Micka-Foos spent the 2009 season assisting not only in the ticket department, but also in media relations, corporate sales, and as the team's public address announcer.
"While Karl got his hands into a little bit of everything this past season, the Suns are excited to see where he can take us in a full-time role, dedicated to providing unsurpassed service for our individual-game and season ticket holders," Flannery said.
In his new role, Micka-Foos will work with Senior Director of Ticket Sales Ben Burnett to streamline the Suns' ticketing system in preparation for the 2010 season. He will oversee the Suns' box office throughout the year, and be the point person for all ticket requests.
"As an intern, it was a privilege to be a part of building the Suns' All-You-Can-Eat and Friends & Family ticket packages from the ground up," Micka-Foos said. "In Year Two, I fully expect these plans to help pack Municipal Stadium like never before -- my job is to keep an eye on the details and make sure no individual fans are lost in the crowds."
A New Jersey native, Micka-Foos is a 2008 graduate of Princeton University, where he majored in English. He represents the seventh-consecutive Suns' intern class to place someone in a full-time role with the team, joining Director of Corporate Partnerships Joel Pagliaro, Director of Media Relations Ryan Mock, and Director of Promotions Reed Hunley as former interns currently employed by the Suns in a full-time role.
