Meet Showtime Shawn Porter at Monday's Game!

(AKRON, OHIO) May 9, 2014 - Professional boxer and Cleveland native Showtime Shawn Porter will be on hand to sign autographs and throw a first pitch at Monday's 6:35 p.m. game against the Harrisburg Senators.

Porter is the IBF welterweight champion of the world. The 26-year-old was also an Olympic alternate and carried one of the greatest amateur resumes in US boxing history after capturing his first title belt in Cleveland in 2010. He currently holds a record of 24-0-1 with 15 knockouts.

The Akron RubberDucks are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The 2014 season is its 18th since moving to Canal Park and its first since becoming the RubberDucks.
