Mike Paz benefit Nov. 8

You may not recognize Mike Paz if he sat down next to you at a Red Wings game, a racing event, or even in the passenger seat of your car. But thousands and thousands of people have heard Mike's voice, and been informed and entertained by his communications skills.

Mike has been a long-time presence in Rochester, co-hosting the WDKX morning show for many years. He has called hundreds of games as public address announcer for the Red Wings and Amerks, DJ'd at local clubs and events, and worked around the country announcing all kinds of auto racing events including the Daytona 500.

Mike suffered a stroke earlier this year. Through his determination and with the support of many caring people, Mike was able to attend a Red Wings game over the summer - and even returned to serve as public address announcer for the August 17 game.

But after another recent series of health setbacks, Mike's friends from around the country are teaming up to help him with a benefit event. The benefit will be held Sunday, November 8 from 11 am - 3 pm at the Breezy Hill Party House, 2875 Merchant Road in Warsaw.

The benefit will include a pasta dinner, and a cash bar will be available. The event also includes a raffle and silent auction, with more details below.

TICKET INFORMATION:
The ticket price for the dinner is $25, or you can purchase a $25 "donation only" ticket if someone is unable to attend but would still like to help out.
