Pint Glass Giveaway, Fireworks & Fur Circus Highlight Homestand
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray field for an eight-game homestand starting Saturday, May 17. The G-Braves will host the Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, for four games from May 17-20 and the Norfolk Tides, Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, for four games from May 22-25. In addition to exciting play on the diamond, the homestand features numerous promotions and giveaways.
The series against Indianapolis kicks off on Saturday at 7:05 PM. First 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mister Fan presented by Coolray. In addition to the giveaway, Saturday will serve as "Daddy Daughter Date Night" at Coolray Field as patrons can purchase a ticket package that includes two Field Box seats, two hot dogs, two sodas and one popcorn can for $30. Sunday's 2:05 PM game is "Sunday Family FunDay." Fans are invited to participate in Pre-Game Catch on the Field starting when the gates open at 1:00 PM and lasting approximately 20 minutes. The series continues on Monday, May 19 at 6:35 PM on "Kids Eat Free Night," where all kids ages 12 and under will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, bag of chips and small soda. The series ends on Tuesday night at 6:35 PM with a "Two-for-Tuesday," as all Field and Infield Box seats are 50% off. Hot dogs are also half price on Tuesdays.
After a day off on Wednesday, the G-Braves return to action on Thursday with a 6:35 PM start and a "$3 Thursday." Fans are welcome to enjoy $3 food and beverage specials all game long. It is also a Throwback Thursday, so don your 50's garb as we pay tribute to the 1950's at Coolray. Country Financial Lawn Seats are also just $3 on Thursday. Friday's 7:05 PM game is a "Friday Fireworks" night at Coolray Field. Fans are invited to stick around after the game for the best fireworks show in Gwinnett County presented by Fox 5 Atlanta and Dollywood - the perfect Smoky Mountain family getaway. Prior to the firework display, the Fur Circus will be in attendance. Fans can pose for pictures with their favorite characters and enjoy circus-themed entertainment and promotions all game long.
