National Pro Fastpitch returns to Dell Diamond June 26-28 for a four-game series between the USSSA Pride and the Chicago Bandits. The two teams will play one game on both Thursday and Friday before concluding their series with a doubleheader Saturday. First pitch for the first two games of the series is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., while play is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Legendary pitcher Cat Osterman, who starred at the University of Texas from 2002-2006, will lead the Pride against Monica Abbot's Bandits. Osterman will be honored for all that she has accomplished throughout her softball career during the Express game on Tuesday, June 24 as part of Softball Appreciation Night.
Osterman held the NCAA Division I career strikeout record upon graduating from UT and is still the all-time leader for strikeouts per seven innings pitched. She is also a two-time Olympian, starring on the 2004 and 2008 USA Women's Softball Team's (2004 gold medal winners in Athens).
Individual game tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (ages 3-12), while tickets for groups of 15 or more can purchase tickets for $5. All tickets are general admission. Fans can also purchase a weekend pass good for all four NPF games and the Express game on Tuesday, June 24 for just $15. There will be team autograph sessions following each game. As part of the NPF festivities, there will be a two-day youth softball camp Friday, June 27 - Saturday, June 28 from 9 a.m. to noon for $99. The camp includes professional instruction on both days, an autograph session with members of the Pride, a camp t-shirt and two tickets to each NPF game. Softball Week kicks off at Dell Diamond on Tuesday, June 24 with Softball Appreciation Night at the Round Rock Express' series finale with the Fresno Grizzlies. This is the third time NPF softball has played at the home of the Express and the first time since 2011. The USSSA Pride played the Chicago Bandits in 2010's inaugural NPF game at Dell Diamond, while the Akron Racers and NPF Diamonds squared off in 2011. Following all of the Softball Week festivities', the Express will return to Round Rock on Friday, July 4 to begin a three-game series with the Nashville Sounds on Independence Day weekend.

About USSSA Pride Women's Softball
The USSSA Pride, formerly known as the Washington Glory, are a women's softball team based in Kissimmee, Florida. The name is from the United States Specialty Sports Association. The USSSA Pride became a part of the National Pro Fastpitch League (NPF) in 2009. In their first season, the Pride finished runner-up in the NPF Championship. The Pride went on to win the Cowles Cup for the NPF Championship in 2010. In 2013 they defeated the Chicago Bandits to win the Cowles cup.
About Chicago Bandits Women's Softball
The Chicago Bandits are a women's professional softball team based in Rosemont, Illinois. Since the 2005 season, they have played as a member of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). The Bandits won the 2008 NPF championship, defeating the Washington Glory in the final game of the championship series. The team won their second NPF championship in 2011, taking the championship series two games to none over the USSSA Pride. They play their home games at The Ballpark at Rosemont in Rosemont, Illinois.
