Cubs and Redbirds Postponed by Rain

Memphis, TN - Tonight's game between the Iowa Cubs and the Memphis Redbirds at Auto Zone Park has been rained out. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Friday, May 30 at 5:05 PM. The twin bill will consist of two seven-inning games.

The Cubs and Redbirds will now play five games in three days starting with a double-header tomorrow night at 5:05 PM. RH Dallas Beeler (2-0, 5.91) will start game one for the Cubs against RH Angel Castro (5-3, 3.63) for the Redbirds. RH Carlos Pimentel (1-3, 4.42) will start for the Cubs in the night cap against LH Nick Greenwood (2-2, 2.63). Both games will be broadcast live on AM 940, and streamed live at iowacubs.com, with the On-Deck Circle Pre-Game Show starting at 4:40 PM.
