Starling Marte Pot Holder Giveaway, Four Fireworks Nights, More When Curve Return Home Friday

Altoona Curve Welcome Fisher Cats and B-Mets as Part of Upcoming Homestand
May 29, 2014

CURVE, Pa. - Four Fireworks shows, a Starling Marte-themed giveaway, and Peoples Natural Gas Customer Appreciation Night highlight a jam-packed homestand for the Altoona Curve beginning tomorrow (Friday). The Curve will welcome in the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays' affiliate) and Binghamton Mets (New York Mets' affiliate) during the stay at Peoples Natural Gas Field.

Over the span, fans can enjoy several nights of postgame fireworks. After the Curve wrap up their first two games on Friday and Saturday, fans in attendance will get to witness the spectacular after the game. After an off day on Monday, the Curve will again light up the sky with more fireworks after Tuesday and Thursday's games against Binghamton.

Along with the fireworks, Curve, Pa. is buzzing over the Starling Marte Pot Holder giveaway to be held on Sunday. The first 1,500 fans to the ballpark for this 1 p.m. game will get a free Starling Marte Pot Holder to commemorate his Curve outfield assists record set in 2011. Additionally, the first 1,500 fans will get a voucher for the Starling Marte Oven Mitt Giveaway. The Oven Mitts were stranded at sea due to a ship's mechanical failure and did not reach port in time to be delivered for Sunday's game. So, the Pot Holders will become an "I.O.U." to redeem for the Oven Mitts when they arrive.

Another highlight of the upcoming homestand for the Curve will be on Wednesday with Peoples Natural Gas Customer Appreciation Night presented by Peoples Natural Gas. Visit AltoonaCurve.com to download Two Free Grandstand Tickets to Wednesday's 7 p.m. game.
