Disney Star Calum Worthy appearing at Chukchansi Park Saturday
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies have announced Disney Star Calum Worthy will be making an appearance at Saturday's June 14th doubleheader against the Omaha Storm Chasers. The actor, producer, and writer is best known for his role as Dez in the Disney Channel TV series Austin & Ally.
All fans purchasing tickets to the game will get an opportunity to meet, get an autograph and take a photograph with Calum. He will also be throwing out the "Ceremonial First Pitch" prior to game one of the doubleheader.
Limited VIP ticket packages are available for $80 and include two game tickets, a private meet-and-greet (5-6 PM), autographs, pictures, and food and drink. Calum Worthy has shown his talents since the early age of four and made his acting debut in 2001 on the TV series Mysterious Ways. Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, he currently resides in Los Angeles where he continues to shoot the series Austin & Ally.
Worthy has appeared in an array of TV series and films such as "Dr. Doolittle 3", "The Big Year", and "The Odds." At 23-years-old, Worthy has acquired two Young Artist awards and one Leo Award (Canada) for his acting.
General tickets to Saturday's doubleheader are available for purchase at the Chukchansi Park Box Office (corner of H and Kern Streets). Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office will open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (June 14).
