Rattlers return to Miller Park

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are heading back to the home of their parent club.   The Class 'A' affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers will host the Cedar Rapids Kernels in a Midwest League game at Miller Park on Friday, May 7 at 7:05pm.

This marks the second straight season in which the Rattlers will host a game at Miller Park .  Wisconsin defeated the Peoria Chiefs on April 24, 2009 by a score of 5-3 in front of a crowd of 17,880 fans.

The Kernels, currently an affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, have a bit of history with baseball in Milwaukee .  From 1958-1962 they were known as the Cedar Rapids Braves and were an affiliate of the Milwaukee Braves.

Tickets for the game are $10 general admission seats and will be available through the Brewers' Ticket Office.  The date on which tickets to the Miller Park Game go on sale will be announced by the Brewers at a later date.

Wisconsin 's 2010 season opens on Thursday, April 8 when the Timber Rattlers host the Kane County Cougars at 6:35pm.  Fans may purchase season and holiday ticket packages for 2010 in one of the following ways: Over the phone at (920) 733-4152, through the internet at www.timberrattlers.com, and in person at the Time Warner Cable Field box office.
