Duck Dynasty's Mountain Man Highlights Eight-Game Homestand

Knights Return Home on Friday, June 20 with Post-Game Fireworks

(Uptown Charlotte, NC) - Tim Guraedy, better known to fans as Mountain Man from A&E's hit show Duck Dynasty, will make a special appearance at BB&T Ballpark on Monday, June 23 for the club's "Great Outdoors Night" presented by Tire Pros. As part of the evening, Mountain Man will meet fans and sign autographs. The Knights also have some fun activities planned for the night, including a beard contest and more.
 
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23 as the Charlotte Knights host the Toledo Mud Hens (Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers) in the finale of their four-game series. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. in the Queen City.

Duck Dynasty is a reality television series on the A&E Network that portrays the lives of the Robertson family, who became wealthy from their family-operated business, Duck Commander. The fourth season premiere drew 11.8 million viewers -- the most-watched, non-fiction cable series in history.

"I've never been to Charlotte, but heard the people are really nice," exclaimed Mountain Man. "All get ready and bring your friends and be sure to bring both of them, haha. Looking forward to meeting everyone in Charlotte!"

The eight-game homestand officially kicks-off at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, June 20 as the Knights open a four-game series against the Mud Hens. Friday's game features another spectacular Friday Night Fireworks show, presented by BB&T, News Talk 1110 WBT, and 107.9 The Link. The Hickory Tavern KnightinGals return to entertain fans on Saturday, June 21, while the first 2,000 fans on Sunbelt Sunday, presented by Sunbelt Rentals, will receive a Soccer Ball, courtesy of Carolinas HealthCare System.

A day after fans meet Mountain Man on Monday, the first 2,000 fans will receive Charlotte Knights sunglasses on Tuesday, June 24 thanks to Kellogg's. It's also Twitter Tuesday, thanks to BB&T and fans can win prizes and interact with the Knights via Twitter throughout the night. The Knights will host the Louisville Bats in a four-game series starting on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.

On Thursday, June 26, Thirsty Thursday ™ returns with $3 small domestic drafts thanks to Hickory Tavern. It's also Irish Heritage Night on Thursday and fans can enjoy the sounds of Clanndarragh. There will also be Irish dancers at BB&T Ballpark on Thursday. The homestand wraps up on Friday, June 27 with another spectacular Friday Night Fireworks show, presented by BB&T, News Talk 1110 WBT, and 107.9 The Link. Friday's game also features Belmont Abbey College Night with a t-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans and it's Barefoot Night at the Ballpark, presented by Gallo Barefoot Wines.
