Wednesday -Stroman Jersey-Tee Giveaway
One of the top young pitchers in the game, Marcus Stroman quickly showed Bisons fans (and International League opponents) why he belonged in the Major Leagues. The 23-year old is now striking out batters in the Major League for the Toronto Blue Jays, but Bisons fans remember some early-season pitching gems at Coca-Cola Field.
Join the Bisons for a single-admission doubleheader on Wednesday, June 25 (5:35 p.m.) for a special MARCUS STROMAN JERSEY-TEE GIVEAWAY, presented by ADPRO. Stroman took the ball for the Bisons on Opening Day 2014 and made seven total starts for the Herd. He picked up his first career complete game on April 9 in Lehigh Valley and notched his first Triple-A win in front of the hometown faithful a week later. Then on April 29, the righty tossed one of the most impressive pitching performances in Coca-Cola Field history. Saddled with a pitch count because of his impending promotion to Toronto, Stroman struck out 10 batters and used just 80 tosses to complete six no-hit innings against Louisville. All told, Stroman struck out 45 in only 35.2 innings with Buffalo this year.
