Jackson's News/Talk returns as flagship station

Diamond Jaxx baseball can once again be heard on News/Talk 101.5 FM

JACKSON, TN. (February 23, 2010) - The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx baseball club is excited to announce a continued partnership with Jackson's News/Talk 101.5 (WNWS FM), as the flagship station for the 2010 baseball season.

"We are really excited about the upcoming 2010 season, and the fact that we are once again partnering with Jackson's News Talk 101.5 FM as our flagship station." said Tom Hanson, Diamond Jaxx General Manager. "Larry Wood, Dan Reeves and the entire News/Talk team have been wonderful to work with, and we look forward to another successful season." Hanson added.

Broadcasts will begin approximately 15 minutes prior to game time. Fans can also catch each broadcast online at the official online home for the Diamond Jaxx, diamondjaxx.com.

"We are excited to have the Diamond Jaxx once again this summer." stated Jackson's News Talk 101.5 FM General Manager, Larry Wood. "We have established ourselves as the Jackson community's station, and the Jaxx are a huge part of this community. It is an association that we are proud to be a part of once again."

The Diamond Jaxx first game broadcast will be the season opener on April 8th, in Jacksonville, FL. The Jaxx will face the defending Southern League Champion, Jacksonville Suns.

The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx are the Double-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The Diamond Jaxx home opener in 2010 is slated for April 14th against the Mississippi Braves.
