This week at the ballpark: Sun Drop, SEA LIFE, Silent Auction & Square1

The Kannapolis Intimidators are back at CMC-NorthEast Stadium for a 4-game home stand starting Thursday, July 10, against the Asheville Tourists (Colorado Rockies). This weekend is packed full of fun and excitement for the whole family, including a game-worn jersey silent auction to benefit the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation, and a visit from SEA LIFE Aquarium on Saturday. Make sure to take advatage of our deals such as the Sun Drop Can Drop, Thirsty Thursday, and Kid's Day Sunday tickets.

Thursday, July 10 - 7:05 p.m.

Thirsty Thursday -- We have best spot for drinks on Thursday because 32 oz. draft beers are only $3.00, and 16 oz. draft beers are $1.50. Gates and concessions will be opened at 6:00 p.m. with the first pitch being thrown out at 7:05 p.m.

Sun Drop -- Thirsty Thursday starts before you even arrive to the stadium. Bring six cans (full or empty) of Sun Drop, Diet Sun Drop, or Cherry-Lemon Sun Drop soda to the stadium in exchange for one general admission ticket. 

Triva -- Throughout the game, test your knowledge with fun triva questions. Answer all 6 correctly and you could be one of our lucky prize winners. Be sure to purchase your tickets for Thursday's game as soon as possible. 

Friday, July 11 - 7:05 p.m.

Legends Series -- We're recognizing former Boll Weevils legend and Major League catcher Johnny Estrada as we give away his Legends Series card. Read about his rise to the major leauges and look back on his celebrated career. Only the first 1,000 guests will receive this limited-edition card so arrive at the stadium at 6:00 p.m. when our gates open. 

Saturday, July 12 - 7:05 p.m.

Silent Auction for Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation -- The Intimidators are wearing special pit crew jerseys which will be available through a silent auction to benefit the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundaion. Fans can pre-register to participate in the silent auction for the chance to take on these limited-edition Intimidators uniforms. Auction winners will be invited down to the field to get your jersey autographed and take a picture with the player.

SEA LIFE -- Make sure you're one of the first 1,500 fans through the gate to recieve your coupon for a discounted ticket to SEA LIFE aquarium in Concord Mills. Also look for Sharky, the aquarium mascot, lurking around the concourse wait to snap up a pictue with you. Finally, stop by the SEA LIFE display table and enter to win four annual passes to the aquarium. 

Faith Night -- Don't miss some of the Kannapolis Intimidators baseball players talk about their walk through faith and baseball. We'll also be welcoming Square1 and other worship leaders during a pre-game concert. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert concluding at 6:45 p.m. before the start of the Intimidators game against the Asheville Tourists.  

Sunday, July 13 - 5:05 p.m.

Kid's Day presented by Cornerstone Church -- Every Sunday is Kid's Day. Not only are all kids tickets only $5 in any section, but we've also got pregame player autographs and postgame kids run the bases. Bring the entire family out to CMC-NorthEast Stadium for the best possible way to wrap up your weekend.

The Kannapolis Intimidators are in the 20th season of professional baseball in Kannapolis and the team's 14th as the Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Since the team moved to Kannapolis in 1995, 77 players that have played in Kannapolis have gone on to the Major Leagues.
