KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (July 11, 2014) -- The Kannapolis Intimidators are wearing special racing pit crew jerseys on Saturday, which will be auctioned off during the game to raise money for the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation. Auction winners will be invited down onto the field following the game to receive their jersey from the Intimidators players, who will autograph the game-worn uniforms. Winners will also receive a Jeff Gordon autographed hero card. Saturday's game at CMC-NorthEast Stadium against the Asheville Tourists begins at 7:05 p.m.

The silent auction begins when gates open at 6 p.m., and fans -- including those unabe to attend the game that wish to participate remotely -- can pre-register to bid on specific jerseys by filling out this online form.

In addition to auctioning off the jerseys worn by the players and Intimidators coaches, including manager Pete Rose Jr., the Intimidators will also auction off a special #24 jersey, which Jeff Gordon will autograph and personalize to the winner. A starting bid on a pit crew game-worn jersey is only $100 ($150 for the Jeff Gordon personalized #24 jersey), and all proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation.

Fans interested in pre-registering for the silent auction, including those unabe to attend the game that wish to participate remotely, may do so online here.
