G-Braves Back at Home for Eight Games, Exciting Promotions

Fireworks, Ron Gant Bobblehead, Christmas in July highlight eight-game homestand

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves return to Coolray Field for an eight-game homestand on Thursday, July 17. Gwinnett will host the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays) from July 17-20 and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (New York Yankees) from July 21-24.

The homestand starts on July 17 with a "$3 Thursday." Longtime Atlanta Braves' MLB.com beat writer Mark Bowman will be on hand for a Home Plate Club Q&A session and the ceremonial first pitch for "Mark Bowman Day" prior to the 6:35 PM game. It's also "Throwback Thursday" featuring music, costumes and promotions highlighting the 70's.

Stick around after the 7:05 PM game on July 18 for Post-Game Fireworks, sponsored by WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta and Dollywood - the perfect Smoky Mountain family getaway. On July 19, the first 2,000 fans entering the ballpark for the 7:05 PM game will receive a Ron Gant Bobblehead, courtesy of Coolray Heating & Cooling and WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta. Gant will be on hand to throw out the first pitch and sign autographs for fans on the concourse. 

The G-Braves host "Christmas in July" on Sunday, July 20.
