Salem Sox Season Tickets: Baseball with Benefits

July 16, 2014

Although the Salem Red Sox are still battling to repeat as Carolina League Champions in 2014, the front office is already looking toward an even better 2015 season. Specifically, it has recently been decided that Season Ticket prices will be frozen for a second straight year, meaning that prices will not rise. In addition, in order to entice prospective fans to act now, the Red Sox have pioneered a bold plan to give fans plenty of free baseball along with their purchase.

Starting now, if a fan buys new Season Tickets for 2015, that individual will receive FREE tickets for the entire remaining schedule of 2014. That could result in complimentary tickets for up to 25 games over the next six weeks! The number of free tickets will correlate to the size of package purchased.

"We have so many passionate baseball fans in the Roanoke Valley, and we're always looking for ways to improve our organization and gameday atmosphere," said Salem General Manager Ryan Shelton. "Our season ticket holders are the backbone of our fan base, the most dedicated and loyal group of supporters that anyone could ask for. It is important for us to seek out new ways to expand our base of season ticket holders, foster our relationship with them, and provide new and exclusive perks to honor their tremendous commitment."

In an attempt to make seat ownership a reality for more fans, the Red Sox are again offering a seven-month payment plan, ensuring that fans will be able to spread out the investment. In addition, 2015 will mark the second consecutive year where prices do not increase.

"Now is the time of year when the front office begins looking to next season," said Shelton. "We want fans to secure their 2015 seats now, so they can focus their energy on supporting the team as they try to defend their Mills Cup Championship."

Interested fans can call 540-389-3333 or stop by the Red Sox front office during regular business hours Monday thru Friday.

Salem opens up a six-game homestand at LewisGale Field tonight (on Wednesday, July 16). Fresh off back-to-back wins on the road, the Red Sox will look to keep it rolling against one of the premier pitching prospects in all of baseball, as Frederick is slated to have phenom righthander Dylan Bundy on the mound. First pitch is slated for 7:05.
