July 24, 2014

DURHAM, NC - The finale of the four-game set between the Durham Bulls and Rochester Red Wings was suspended Thursday night due to rain. The teams completed 3 ½ innings before the suspension, with the Red Wings leading 1-0. The game will be completed on a yet-to-be-determined date when the teams square off for a four-game set in Rochester from August 11-14.

The Red Wings scored the game's lone run in the top of the third frame, when Doug Bernier doubled and later scored on a single to centerfield from James Beresford.

Fans with tickets for tonight's game can exchange them for any other 2014 regular season home game, based on availability. Exchanges must be made at the DBAP box office.

The Bulls' eight-game homestand continues Friday night, when they open a four-game set with the Toledo Mud Hens. LHP Mike Montgomery (9-2, 3.63) takes the hill for the Bulls opposite LHP Robbie Ray (5-4, 3.65) for Toledo. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
