Alberto Callaspo to Make Rehab Appearance in Stockton

The infielder is scheduled to join the Ports on Saturday, July 26th

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Stockton Ports have confirmed that Alberto Callaspo will make a Major League Baseball Rehabilitation appearance in Stockton on Saturday, July 26th.

Callaspo will join the team after being placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring on July 12th. The infielder injured himself while running to first base to beat out a ground ball. In his eighth season of Major League Baseball, this is Callaspo's third time on the disabled list.

Callaspo is currently batting .234 with 3 homeruns and 31 RBI this season in 83 games with Oakland.
