Fang and Bernie hit the beach for Opening Day bobblehead

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Time Warner Cable are giving fans another opportunity to pick up a unique bobblehead if they attend Opening Day, 2010.  All fans attending the April 8 game against the Kane County Cougars will receive the collectable.  

Like last season, the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers is giving away a bobblehead featuring Fang, the mascot of the Timber Rattlers, and Bernie Brewer, the mascot of the parent club.  But, this year the figurines have a more tropical flavor.  

The two mascots are depicted in beach attire and lounging on deck chairs to celebrate the new beach seating area beyond the outfield fence at Time Warner Cable Field.  Fans who purchase a ticket to Opening Day will be guaranteed one of these bobbleheads.  Game time is 6:35pm.  

Tickets for Opening Day, 2010 go on sale - along with the rest of the home games on the schedule - Saturday, March 6 at 10:00am.
