Shredder Event Returns to Coolray Field on Sept. 20
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves, in conjunction with CBS 46 and presenting sponsor Recall, are hosting "The Great Shredder Event" at Coolray Field on Saturday, September 20 from 8 AM to 12:30 PM.
From bank statements to tax documents, the G-Braves and CBS 46 want you help you cut the clutter while protecting your identity and the environment. You may bring up to five (5) boxes/bags of any personal information that you want professionally shredded and recycled for free by Recall, including:
- Paper (staples and paper clips OK, just no large clips)
- Books
- Brochures
- File Folders
- Post-its
- Photos
- Envelopes
Additionally, these Electronics are also permitted:
- PC's
- Modems
- Laptops
- Cell Phones
- Circuit Boards
- Power Supplies
- Video Game Systems
- Keyboards
- Satellite Receivers
- Media Drives
- Hard Drives
- Routers
- Switches
- CRT Monitors ($10.00 fee)
- TV's less than 16 inches ($25.00 fee)
- TV's over 16 inches ($50.00 fee)
The following items are NOT permitted to be shredded:
- Food or food containers
- Liquids
- Glass
- Metal
- Aluminum cans
- Batteries
- Wet paper items
- Alkaline Batteries (AA, AAA, D, etc.)
After you drop off your items to be shredded, be sure to stop by The Shredder Family Fun Zone. The whole family will have a great time where there's something for everyone to enjoy! This area will be filled with interactive entertainment, activities for the kids and great food and music right outside of Coolray Field.
