Homestand Preview: Aug. 7 - 12

Thursday, August 7 - 6:35pm

GATES OPEN AT 4:45 P.M.

  • Pregame Concert: JT & the Tourists will be performing pre-game music from 5:00pm to 6:15pm (gates open 4:45pm), playing 50's, 60's, rock 'n roll and easy-listening tunes.
  • Cancer Awareness Weekend: Hematology Oncology of Salem partners with the Volcanoes for this memorable event. Cancer survivors will receive a special gift prior to entering the stadium. Fan are encouraged to submit photos of cancer survivors or in memory photos to Volcanoes' owner Jerry Walker ([email protected]) for display on the stadium's video board. The Volcanoes will be wearing special Cancer Awareness Uniforms, sponsored by Dr. Chuck Petrunin. All fans entering the gates will be given a "We Honor" card, encouraging you to honor a hero who has survived cancer, or honor an individual who shall be remembered after losing the battle. We will have a special in-game ceremony using the "We Honor" cards.
  • $1 Adult Beverage Night: Select adult beverages are just $1.00 in the stadium's Lava Lodge Sports Pub.

 

Friday, August 8 - 6:35pm

  • Postgame Fireworks: The Volcanoes put on another fantastic fireworks display, presented by Hematology Oncology of Salem.

 

Saturday, August 9 - 6:35pm

  • PINK OUT: We encourage you to wear your pink as we paint Volcanoes Stadium pink in support of cancer awareness.
  • Souvenir Saturday:  The first several hundred fans through the gates will receive a FREE Volcanoes logo baseball as a part of our Souvenir Saturday series.
  • Postgame Fireworks: The Volcanoes put on another fantastic fireworks display, presented by Hematology Oncology of Salem.

 

Sunday, August 10 - 1:35pm

  • Volcanoes in Hillsboro: The Volcanoes travel to Hillsboro for the one-game hiatus of the homestand. We encourage you to make the quick drive to support the Volcanoes, but if you can't, be sure to tune into 1490 AM KBZY (www.kbzy.com) for the broadcast with Rob Schreier. The pregame show begins at 12:35 p.m.

 

Monday, August 11 - 6:35pm

GATES OPEN AT 5:30 P.M.

  • Kid's Night: ALL kids 12 & under can enter the gates FREE. Just request a free ticket voucher from Volcanoes owner Jerry Walker ([email protected]).
  • Hops Rivalry: The three-game series shifts back to Keizer for the critical second and third games in a battle atop the division leaders.
  • Covanta Marion Night: Covanta Marion, a great marketing partner of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, will be on the concourse.

 

Tuesday, August 12 - 6:35pm

GATES OPEN AT 5:30 P.M.

  • Don Larsen Night: The only pitcher to toss a perfect game in a World Series visits Volcanoes Stadium. Don Larsen will be in attendance to meet fans and sign autographs throughout the evening. A perfect chance to secure an autograph from a living legend!
  • 1950s Retro Night:  We're turning the clock back to 1950 with special 50's-themed music and on-field activities.
  • Double Play Tuesday:  Purchase a ticket to this game and get another for just $5 in the same section to any remaining home game.
  • Hops Rivalry: The three-game series shifts back to Keizer for the critical second and third games in a battle atop the division leaders.
