Senators Launch New Website

Earlier today, the Harrisburg Senators launched their brand-new website, complete with new layout and design, at the same web address: www.senatorsbaseball.com. The team anticipates the new site to be an improvement in both presentation and functionality, while featuring all the same content fans have come to expect and enjoy.

Teams around minor league baseball are upgrading their website in 2010, and the Senators are the latest to join the party. The Sens' website has already hit record highs for the month of March, and the team foresees a further increase in web traffic as a result of the new site.

Just as before, the new website will allow fans to purchase tickets, read stories on current and former Senators, and view exclusive video content. The Sens' video content has expanded greatly in 2010, with not only interviews, but also the hit new series, "The Intern World." "The Intern World" features the exploits of the Sens' eight 2010 interns, as they try to navigate life both in Minor League Baseball, and in an eight-person, penthouse apartment in downtown Harrisburg. New videos or articles will be posted to the new website at least once a day, so fans are encouraged to check back often.

The 2010 home opener in newly renovated Metro Bank Park is Thursday, April 15th at 7:00pm against the New Britain Rock Cats (Twins). The new ballpark adds to a Harrisburg-Hershey minor league market that is ranked as the best in the country by Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal.
