51s Promotional Schedule For Fans of All Ages!
The Las Vegas 51s organization has the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in Southern Nevada.
The promotional schedule will once again be highlighted with the traditional "Fireworks Spectaculars" for a total of eight dates, which features the "Fireworks Extravaganza" on back-to-back dates on Friday-Saturday, July 2-3. The 51s will host intrastate rival the Reno Aces from July 1-3.
Budweiser Dollar Beer Night will be presented during every Thursday "home" game and 51s giveaway items, for the first 2,500 fans through the gates, include: Fleece Blanket Night (April 10), Randy Ruiz (2009 PCL MVP) Bobblehead Night (April 24), Bucket Hat Night (May 14), Radio Night (May 15), Performance T-Shirt Night (May 29), T-Shirt Night (June 4 & July 23), Visor Night (June 12), Sunglasses Night (June 25), Cooler Bag Night (July 9), Wall Clock Night (July 24), Back Pack Night (August 7), Fan Appreciation/51s Jersey Night (August 28).
A "Value Menu" will return for the second season on Monday games as the 51s and Aramark have teamed together for discounted food items on Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Peanuts, Cracker Jacks and Pretzels for just $1.00 per item.
Bobblehead Tuesdays will be presented of Las Vegas celebrities that include: Holly Madison (April 13 & August 24), Gordie Brown (April 27), Terry Fator (June 1), Carrot Top (June 22), Frank Caliendo (July 20) and Rita Rudner (August 10).
The Iowa Cubs, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, will visit Cashman Field for a four-game series from May 11-14. Ryne Sandberg Bobblehead Night will be presented on Tuesday, May 11. The Hall of Famer Sandberg enters his first season as manager of Iowa. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive the Tuesday bobbleheads.
The 51s will proudly host the Seventh Annual Cox Communications School Day on Tuesday, May 18 in the special 10:30 a.m. morning start against the Omaha Royals, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The game will feature a field trip available to 5th grade students in the Clark County School District. Over the previous six seasons, a total of 47,045 fans have attended games which included last season's crowd of 10,405 (Sacramento/Las Vegas, May 11).
The popular Kids Carnival returns for two dates on Saturday, May 1 and Saturday, July 10 (Indoor Carnival). The Kids Carnival is free for fans with a purchase of a 51s game ticket and begins two hours prior to the first pitch of the game.
Tickets for all 51s home games can be purchased at the Cashman Field box office. The box office is open Monday-Friday (non game days) from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000, (ticketmaster.com). Ticketmaster outlets are located at selected Smith's Food & Drug, Ritmo Latino and the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino.
The individual game tickets for the 72-game home season are priced at $9.00 (general admission), $10.00 (reserved), $12.00 (plaza) and $14 (field). The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza, reserved and G.A. seats throughout the season except for the two holiday fireworks shows on July 2 & 3 (all seats priced at $14.00).
