PHOENIX -- The Nashville Sounds continued their strong spring, downing the Columbus Clippers (AAA-Indians), 4-2, in Saturday's action at Maryvale Baseball Park.

Outfielder Trent Oeltjen hit a three-run homer to provide most of the Sounds' offense. Brendan Katin drove in the other Nashville run. Lorenzo Cain and Angel Salome each ripped a double in the winning effort.

Right-hander Michael Bowman started and tossed four scoreless innings. Brandon Kintzler, Tim Dillard, and John Axford each threw a scoreless frame out of the Nashville bullpen.

The Sounds (4-1-2) continue their spring slate on Sunday with a trip to Goodyear and an afternoon contest against the Louisville Bats (AAA-Reds).
