2010 Promotional Schedule Release

Tickets are on sale now for the 2010 Salt Lake Bees baseball season at Smith'sTix outlets including www.slbees.com, Smith's Food and Drug Stores, www.smithstix.com or by calling (801) 325-BASE. The Spring Mobile Ballpark box office also opens on March 31.

"As we begin our 17th season in Salt Lake City, the Bees are proud to continue offering one of the best entertainment values along the Wasatch Front," said Bees general manager Marc Amicone. "We encourage everyone to take advantage of a family-friendly Bees game for an affordable price beginning with the team's home opener on April 16."

In addition to single game tickets, the Bees will continue to offer three season passes along with season ticket packages. The Family Pass ($199.50) admits a household to all 72 home games. The Student Pass ($35.50) can be purchased by any student currently enrolled in elementary school, middle school, high school or college and is good for admission to all 72 home games. A season Military Pass ($35.50) is also available to active members of the U.S. military.

Other ticket packages offered include group tickets and picnics, birthday parties, ticket vouchers, 10-game weekend plans and luxury suites. For specific benefits included in these packages, please log on to www.slbees.com or call (801) 325-BASE.

To kick off the 2010 promotional schedule, Papa John's is giving away magnetic schedules at the home opener on April 16. Other giveaways during the season include Bees baseballs courtesy of Coke, wristbands courtesy of ICON Health and Fitness, Bees baseball caps courtesy of US Bank, batting helmets courtesy of Zions Bank and a Bees baseball card set courtesy of Disabled American Veterans.

New promotional nights for the season include 60s Night on April 22, 70s Night on April 29, 80s Night on May 13, Mega Money Monday on June 28, Beach Boys Night on August 5 and Beverly Hills 90210 Night on September 2.

Among this season's weekday promotions are Harmon's Family Night on Mondays where fans can purchase single tickets for $3; Kids 12 and under eat free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays are Wienerschnitzel $1 hot dogs and all beverages are $2.50 on Thursdays. The Bees will also feature The Famous Chicken entertainment act on July 17 and host three Dog Day Afternoons at the ballpark on May 30, June 27 and September 5.

There are nine Bees games with fireworks this season including the home opener on April 16, May 28, June 5, July 4, July 5, July 23, July 24, August 21 and September 4. Fireworks are presented by Larry H. Miller Ford Lincoln Mercury, Larry H. Miller Chevrolet, Larry H. Miller Honda, Larry H. Miller Collision Centers, Larry H. Miller Ford and Larry H. Miller Toyota.
