Naturals Release 2015 Regular Season Schedule

Season 8 of Naturals Baseball at Arvest Ballpark will begin on April 16, 2015

SPRINGDALE, AR- The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to release their entire 2015 Texas League regular season schedule and subsequent home games. Season tickets for the Naturals 2015 season at Arvest Ballpark are available as well.

Season 8 of Naturals baseball will begin with a six-game road trip to Midland and Frisco before returning to Arvest Ballpark for their home opener on Thursday, April 16 vs. the Midland RockHounds (AA Oakland Athletics). 

The 2015 season consists of one-hundred and forty games (140) with seventy (70) of those games coming at Arvest Ballpark. The 2015 home schedule is highlighted by a total of twenty-nine (29) games that will fall on either a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. During the month of May alone, the Naturals will have home games at Arvest Ballpark for three (3) consecutive weekends stretching from May 15 until May 31 and a stretch of seventeen (17) home games in eighteen (18) days, which will be a first in franchise history. The home slate will also see the Naturals face off against the in-state Arkansas Travelers a total of fourteen (14) times and another sixteen (16) times against the Springfield Cardinals (AA St. Louis Cardinals). The Naturals will once again host the South Division teams (Midland, Frisco, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi) six (6) times each during the year.

The Naturals will host four (4) School Kids Day Games (April 21, April 29, May 4, and May 20) during the 2015 season, which is another first in franchise history, with each of those games scheduled to begin at 11:05 A.M. Along with School Kids Days, the Naturals will also host their annual Summer Camp Day on Tuesday, June 16 and that game will begin at 12:05 P.M.

This year the Texas League All-Star Game stayed in Arkansas for the second consecutive year as the Arkansas Travelers hosted the event at Dickey-Stephens Park. Next year the event will move to the South Division as the Corpus Christi Hooks (AA Houston Astros) will host the 2015 Texas League All-Star Game at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi on Tuesday, June 30.

In addition to the 2015 baseball schedule, the Naturals will once again host 4th at the Field at Arvest Ballpark on Saturday, July 4 that will feature the largest Fireworks Spectacular in all of Northwest Arkansas while the team is on the road. 

The Naturals will be passing out 2015 pocket schedules with our home dates listed during the upcoming homestand that begins tonight. Pocket schedules will also be available at our Administrative Offices and a printable PDF copy of the schedule will be available online in the coming days at the Naturals' official website, www.nwanaturals.com
